The British Show Pony Society (BSPS) is a family orientated society, which was founded in October 1949 with the aim to improve the showing of “The Children's Riding Pony”.

It promotes classes and competitions for children’s Show Ponies, Show Hunter Ponies and Working Hunter Ponies and more recently classes for Mountain and Moorland Ponies. There are also competitions for Young Judges, Young Stewards and Young Course Builders.
